Plenty of Sydney plumbers put "24/7" on the side of the van and send you to voicemail after 6pm. Mr Flow runs a real 24-hour operation. How we staff the overnight shift
We do not hand the night phone to an answering service that promises someone will call you back. Overnight and weekend calls are answered by our own people, who know which plumbers are on shift and roughly where they are. Vans are positioned across the city rather than parked at a single depot, which is how we hold a 60-minute response target for emergencies at 2am as well as 2pm.
Every overnight van carries the same kit as the day fleet: pipe and fittings, isolation valves, drain clearing equipment, hot water parts for Rheem, Rinnai, Dux and the other common brands, and leak detection gear. The aim is always to fix it in one visit. Where a part genuinely has to wait for a supplier to open, we make everything safe and come back with the price already agreed.
